The crafts/Print

Print that earns its place on the fridge.

Direct mail, brochures, signage, menus, business cards and packaging. Designed for the press, proofed on paper and delivered through printers we have used for years. It is also the piece of a reactivation sequence that a spam filter cannot touch.

What’s included.

  • Concept and copy that work at arm's length, not just on a screen
  • Design built to spec: bleed, CMYK and Pantone matching
  • Printer quotes, file prep and press checks
  • Mailing lists and USPS Every Door Direct Mail when a neighborhood is the target
  • QR codes and landing pages so a mailer can be measured
  • Reprints and new sizes from one master file

How it runs.

Print is unforgiving, so the proof step is real: you see it on paper before the press runs.

  • BriefWhat it is, who gets it, and what they should do next.
  • Design & proofA PDF proof first, then a printed proof for anything going to mail.
  • PrintWe manage the printer, the paper and the press check.
  • DeliverTo your door, or straight to the post office with postage handled.

A good fit if.

  • A service business that wins in a radius: pools, brakes, lawns, farms, real estate
  • A restaurant or shop whose menus, signage and cards should match
  • A past-customer list that deserves more than another email

From the plate.

Etch's own identity is a Pantone 338 mint on Cool Gray, chosen in 2014 for how it prints. We hold every client's print to the same standard: the color on the card matches the color on the truck.

Questions we get.

Is there a minimum run?

Not from us. Printers have their own, and we will tell you where the price breaks are before you decide.

How long does it take?

Design in one to two weeks. Printing takes three to ten business days depending on the piece and the paper.

Do you handle the mailing?

Yes. List, postage and the drop at the post office.

Can you match the brand we already have?

Yes. Send us what you have and we will build the spec sheet so everything matches from now on.

Ready when you are.

Two sentences about what needs to change is plenty. We will come back with questions.
